CHS Broadbent Case Study – SharePoint & Teams Collaboration

Elevate collaboration with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams

SharePoint and Teams Consulting

Challenge

CHS Broadbent had already taken a significant step forward by moving their files to SharePoint Online, enabling remote work, improving collaboration, and strengthening business continuity. As with many organisations making this shift, they recognised an opportunity to go further: to bring greater structure, consistency, and control to how information was stored, accessed, and protected.

They were looking for a partner to help them unlock the full potential of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams, not just as tools, but as enablers of productivity, governance, and ongoing improvement.

Solution

To address CHS Broadbent’s need for structure and consistency, a series of discovery workshops were held to understand how teams were organised and collaborated across the business.

This informed the design of a SharePoint and Microsoft Teams architecture aligned with best practice, ensuring consistency when new teams and sites were created.

Change champions were trained and supported through a guided clean-up and migration process, helping them organise their content before moving into the new environment.

The solution also improved the use of Teams channels to support more structured communication, enhancing discoverability and team-wide awareness of information.

Customer Testimonal

We engaged Sam to assist with our SharePoint and Teams adoption within our organisation. The training and setup provided by Sam has significantly empowered our teams, enabling them to maximise the benefits of both SharePoint and Teams. As a result, content is now easily accessible, and staff are well-informed about where to go for effective communication.

Additionally, our business champions received further training on Microsoft 365 applications, which has allowed us to fully leverage our Microsoft 365 licenses.

We highly recommend Sam to anyone looking to enhance their productivity and collaboration through Microsoft 365.
